Refurbishment – new surfaces on all cabinets in Riyadh, UAE
Summary
The Boeing 757, reworked by LIST in 2009, belongs to the royal fleet of the United Arab Emirates and is used as a flying hospital by the royal family. The surfaces of all veneered furniture components were retreated, from lacquer removal to veneer repair to the application of new lacquer and a brilliant surface finish. The refurbishment of the interior components was carried out by Alsalam Aircraft Co., an Arab completion center and maintenance operation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, using an 18-member on-site team from LIST components & furniture.
