Stone Flooring.
The newly developed granite or marble stone floor can be used in custom designs and – like stone veneer – meets all mandatory qualification and flammability requirements. The possibility of equipping an aircraft cabin with a stone floor for the first time is an outstanding innovation. Stone flooring captivates with the dramatic appearance of a polished stone surface.
Areas of application in aircraft cabins:
- Entry area
- Shower and toilet area
- Partial use in the main cabin
Product characteristics:
- Granite or marble cut into 2.5 mm slices
- Attached to a backplate and aluminum or carbon honeycomb core
- High wear resistance
- Long life
- Retains the natural appearance of the stone
- High elasticity
- Enormous weight advantages compared to other natural stone construction
- Can be worked into mosaics
- Can be made into square or round tiles
- “Floating” installation
- Tiles connected using a specially developed fastening system
